Volleyball Game Preview: York Falcons vs. Jamestown Eagles + How To Watch

The York Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Jamestown Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. York is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Thursday, York didn't have quite enough to beat Lafayette and fell 3-2. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 25-17 in the first set.

York started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 15-6.

Meanwhile, Jamestown posted their closest win since August 26th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Smithfield 3-2.

Jamestown took Smithfield into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 25-27, 19-25, 15-13.

York's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Jamestown, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

York suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Jamestown in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
