Volleyball Recap: Pikes Peak Christian Has No Trouble Against Monument Academy

Pikes Peak Christian won the last time they faced Monument Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Lynx with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pikes Peak Christian took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-11, 25-8.

Annaliece Fisher paced Pikes Peak Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Fisher got some help from Savannah Heath and her 12 assists. Fisher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Pikes Peak Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Monument Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Pikes Peak Christian has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against South Park on the 18th. As for Monument Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fountain Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th. This will be the Lynx's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
