Basketball Recap: Paulding Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Paulding faced off against Miller City on Saturday. The Paulding Panthers took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miller City Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 35th).

Paulding dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Miller City, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Paulding will square off against Wayne Trace at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miller City, they will challenge Hicksville at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
