Hudson has gone a perfect 6-0 against Medina recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Explorers will face off against the Bees at 7:00 p.m. Hudson will be strutting in after a win while Medina will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Hudson beat Mt. Vernon 2-0.

While Hudson might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mt. Vernon scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Medina entered their match against St. Vincent-St. Mary on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bees took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Irish. While the Bees didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Fighting Irish 25-19 in the first set.

Medina started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 26-24.

Hudson pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Medina, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.

Hudson got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Medina by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Explorers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
