            Softball Recap: Pacheco Panthers vs. Grace Davis Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Ripon, Pacheco was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They blew past the Grace Davis Spartans 29-14. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Spartans  back in March, they had to take a  13-6  defeat.

Pacheco got a  massive  performance out of  Isabella Chavez, who  went 4-for-6 with four  stolen bases, four  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  four  stolen bases gave  Chavez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Serenity Martinez, who  went 3-for-5 with four  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pacheco  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 20  hits. They are 3-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Pacheco's  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-12 and their overall record up to 5-20. As for Grace Davis, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pacheco is set to  take on  their familiar foe Livingston  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Grace Davis will  square off against  rival Johansen  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
