Volleyball Recap: Canby Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Canby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the La Salle Falcons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-17.

La Salle was led to victory by Morgan Young and Eleanor Baker. Young had 20 assists and eight digs, while Baker had 18 digs. Baker has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Canby now has a losing record of 7-8. As for La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Canby will challenge rival Hillsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, La Salle is set to take on their familiar foe Parkrose at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
