Soccer Game Preview: Gibbs vs. Cocke County

The Gibbs Eagles will square off against the Cocke County Fighting Cocks on Tuesday. Gibbs will be strutting in after a victory while Cocke County will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Gibbs made easy work of Scott and carried off a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for Gibbs, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Cocke County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Fulton by a score of 3-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Gibbs and bumps their season record up to 10-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matches. As for Cocke County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
