Football Recap: Northglenn Falls Short Against Ranked Arvada West

Northglenn faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Norsemen came up short against the Wildcats, falling 25-0.

Northglenn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Vanessa Rodriguez.

Northglenn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Arvada West, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Northglenn will take on Mountain Range at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be the Norsemen's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Arvada West, they have already played their next match, a 33-0 victory against Columbine on the 3rd.
