Soccer Game Preview: Forney vs. Community

The Forney Jackrabbits will be taking part in a tournament against the Community Braves at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Forney's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Forney fell victim to Sam Houston and their airtight defense on Monday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 2-0 defeat to the Texans.

Meanwhile, Community had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Farmers.

Forney's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-2. As for Community, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
