Softball Recap: Claude Comes Up Short

Claude was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-4 to the Crosbyton Chiefs.

Claude's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Crosbyton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Claude will square off against Lockney at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Crosbyton, they will be playing at home against Kress at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
