Football Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Central Catholic's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central Catholic can now relate to. They were dealt a 35-6 defeat at the hands of the St. Joseph's Prep Hawks on Saturday. The Vikings were red-hot offensively headed into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the eight matches prior) but the Hawks' defense proved too tough.

Jy'Aire Walls threw for 139 yards on 12 of 32 attempts. Maceo Watkins Jr. was his top target, picking up 74 receiving yards. On the ground, Elijah Faulkner rushed for 67 yards.
