Shiner had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Weimar Wildcats by a score of 5-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 back in March.

Shiner saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cauy Herman, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Shiner hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matchups.

Shiner's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Weimar, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Shiner has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Ganado on the 15th. Weimar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
