Leola/Frederick extended the longest winning streak in Lake Region (9 Man) this week by beating Viborg/Hurley, 56-6. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Leola/Frederick took down the Cougars 56-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ipswich/Edmunds Central's Dustin Northrup and Phil Beck have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Northrup has thrown for 856 yards this season, while Beck has 20 catches for 379 yards. Darin Wieseler from Faulkton leads the league in rushing with 1,039 yards.
The Trojans made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 287 from 389. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 28-12 victory over Faulkton last week.
