North Valleys kept up with Sparks until halftime on Saturday, but afterwards: not so much. The Railroaders' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 4-0 shutout. Sparks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Sparks and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for North Valleys, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sparks will challenge Spanish Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Valleys, they will take on Damonte Ranch at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
