After soaring to 64 points the game before, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 53-25 defeat at the hands of the Cherokee Chiefs. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now lost four in a row.

Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Cherokee, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-11.
