Columbus won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Saturday too. The Discoverers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Discoverers.

Carley Kapels paced Columbus' offense, picking up nine kills. Kapels got some help from Avery Bloebaum and her 13 assists. Kapels was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Columbus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Kearney on the 27th. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Elkhorn on the 27th.
