Basketball Recap: Baker Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Baker couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Fairhope Pirates by a score of 67-65 on Friday. The Hornets have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Baker's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Fairhope, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairhope, they have already played their next matchup, a 71-57 win against Daphne on the 19th.
