Volleyball Recap: Somerville Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Somerville hadn't done well against Cambridge Rindge & Latin recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Highlanders blew past the Falcons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Somerville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Somerville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Watertown on the 4th. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, they will challenge Greater Lawrence Tech at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
