Volleyball Game Preview: Coral Gables Cavaliers vs. Braddock Bulldogs

After both having extra time off, the Coral Gables Cavaliers and the Braddock Bulldogs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Coral Gables is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Varela, who was ranked 13th at the time (Coral Gables was ranked 18th). Coral Gables fell just short of Varela by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Braddock came up short against Palmetto on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Braddock's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Coral Gables, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coral Gables skirted past Braddock 3-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Coral Gables repeat their success, or does Braddock has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
