Baseball Recap: Central Christian Takes a Loss

Central Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-1 to the Aletheia Christian Academy Lions. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Bond, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Central Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Christian will host Santa Rosa Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Aletheia Christian Academy Lions duke it out with Central Jaguars at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (they have won 11 straight at home dating back to last season, while Central won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
