Aj Teixeira threw for 111 yards on nine of 22 attempts. Max Delarosa was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards.

Stonington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Waterford, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Stonington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-14 victory against New London on the 26th. As for Waterford, they have also already played their next game, a 39-17 win against Montville on the 26th.
