Baseball Recap: Port Washington Takes a Loss

Port Washington lost against Kettle Moraine Lutheran back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pirates came up short against the Chargers, falling 14-2.

Port Washington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Hoeft, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Port Washington dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Washington will venture away from home to take on Plymouth at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, they will square off against Campbellsport at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
