Baseball Recap: Coolidge Takes a Loss

Coolidge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Globe Tigers, falling 13-4. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jaden Valenzuela was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season.

Coolidge's record now sits at 3-6. As for Globe, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Coolidge will head out on the road to face off against Ray at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Globe, they will welcome Florence at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
