Volleyball Recap: Servite Comes Up Short

Servite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. John Bosco Braves. The Friars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Servite's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for St. John Bosco, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Servite will head out to challenge Orange Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give Orange Lutheran their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for St. John Bosco, they will face off against North at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
