Holmes came out on top against Northeastern on Tuesday thanks in part to Maddox Bass's efforts. Bass wasn't messing around, striking out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with five or more strikeouts.
