Volleyball Recap: Guilderland Comes Up Short

Guilderland saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Webster Schroeder Warriors. The Flying Dutchmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Webster Schroeder's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddie Siphakongviseth led the charge by getting 14 digs. Siphakongviseth has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Guilderland's loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1. As for Webster Schroeder, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-2-1 record this season.

Guilderland will head out on the road to face off against Schenectady at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Webster Schroeder, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Bay Shore on the 11th.
