Volleyball Game Preview: St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors vs. St. Mary's Academy Belles + How To Watch

St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy hasn't had much luck against St. Mary's Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Belles at 6:00 p.m.

St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since September 4th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to St. Paul.

While St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy ultimately came up short, they really made St. Paul work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 26-24, 25-23.

St. Mary's Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Serra as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Belles in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won eight in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Mary's Academy was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 25-11.

St. Mary's Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
