Heritage Hills has gone 8-2 against Mt. Vernon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Patriots will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Heritage Hills' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Friday, Heritage Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 38-34 to Gibson Southern. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Patriots, who until this matchup were averaging 11.33 points allowed.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Mt. Vernon was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a hard 21-6 fall against Southridge. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mt. Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Heritage Hills, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Heritage Hills against Mt. Vernon in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-6 victory. In that game, the Patriots amassed a halftime lead of 34-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
