Football Recap: Redding Christian Beats Maxwell for Their 13th Straight Victory + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Redding Christian had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Maxwell Panthers with a sharp 26-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 12 games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Redding Christian was led to victory by Wyatt Shaw and Levi Putnam. Shaw threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns, while Putnam rushed for 106 yards. Brodie Ogden got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win keeps Redding Christian at an undefeated 13-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.6 points on average this season. As for Maxwell, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
