Basketball Game Recap: UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs vs. Williamson Lions

UMS-Wright Prep lost against Williamson last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 66-61 to the Williamson Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Lions are ranked 28th).

This is the second loss in a row for UMS-Wright Prep and nudges their season record down to 14-10. As for Williamson, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

UMS-Wright Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-25 win against Elberta on the 27th. As for Williamson, they will head out to square off against Pike Road at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Williamson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
