Recap: Fletcher Senators vs. Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles
The Fletcher Senators lost against the Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Fletcher lost to Episcopal School of Jacksonville on the road by a decisive 53-37 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fletcher has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Fletcher still got an impressive performance from Anthony Vaglienti, who scored ten points along with three steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for Vaglienti. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Barata, who scored 11 points.
Fletcher now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Fletcher will be home for the holidays to greet Atlantic Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atlantic Coast is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, they will head out on the road to face off against Father Lopez at 8:00 p.m. on December 21st.
