Basketball Recap: Park Comes Up Short

Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Laurel Locomotives, falling 78-51. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rangers of the 72-43 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Laurel, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Park will face off against Billings Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Laurel, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-38 loss against Custer County on the 1st.
