Basketball Recap: Nathan Weiss Key Part of a Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Becker Bulldogs beat the Southwest Christian Stars 83-79.

Becker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nathan Weiss led the charge by putting up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Paumen, who posted 17 points.

The win got Becker back to even at 4-4. As for Southwest Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Becker will venture away from home to take on St. Michael-Albertville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwest Christian, they will face off against Minnehaha Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
