Volleyball Recap: Fisher Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Fisher lost against Eureka back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bunnies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18.

Bella Kelsey paced Fisher's offense, picking up six kills. Kelsey got some help from Brooklynn Kellems and her 13 assists.

Fisher's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3. As for Eureka, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fisher will square off against rival Heyworth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eureka is set to challenge their familiar foe Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
