Volleyball Recap: St. Maries Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Maries was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Orofino Maniacs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Maniacs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

St. Maries was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11, 25-21.

St. Maries' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Orofino, they pushed their record up to 8-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, St. Maries will face off against Bonners Ferry on Saturday. As for Orofino, they will take on Grangeville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
