Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian School Falls Short of Freeman in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northwest Christian School can now relate to. They took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freeman Scotties on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Scotties: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Northwest Christian School still got an impressive performance from Avi West, who posted 18 points. West is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last 38 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Slade, who had nine points.

Northwest Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Freeman, they pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home.
