Atchison has gone a perfect 4-0 against St. Mary's Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Phoenix will get right back to it and host the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. St. Mary's Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Atchison, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Atchison humbled Wamego with a 73-43 victory. The Phoenix have beaten the Red Raiders the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Red Raiders has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Bishop Seabury Academy on Tuesday, falling 63-43. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Atchison will have to keep a close watch on Nick Engholm and Henry Harpe, a pair of players who had a big impact on St. Mary's Academy's prior game. Engholm posted 12 points and three steals, while Harpe put up nine points and seven rebounds. Ben Merz was another key player, putting up eight points.

Everything went Atchison's way against St. Mary's Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Atchison made off with a 68-44 victory. Will the Phoenix repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
