Volleyball Recap: Twin Valley South Comes Up Short

After flying high against Madison last Tuesday, Twin Valley South came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Valley View Spartans on Monday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Brylii Day paced Twin Valley South's offense, picking up five kills. Day got some help from Danika Caldwell and her 14 assists. Mya Hundley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The loss snapped Twin Valley South's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record. As for Valley View, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Twin Valley South and Valley View will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will take on rival Tri-Village at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Valley View is set to square off against their familiar foe Carlisle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
