Softball Recap: Riverside Find Success

Riverside's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Liberty Red Devils by a score of 7-4.

Natalie Regan was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Madison Thieke, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 7-10-1. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Riverside is taking a road trip to take on Spartanburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will welcome Chesnee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
