With a playoff win on the line, Farwell rose to the challenge on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Floydada Whirlwinds 71-29. The Steers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 26 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Farwell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makylee Baldwin, who went 8 for 11 to rack up 21 points. Baldwin is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 27 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Jaime, who went 5 of 10 en route to 15 points and seven steals.

Farwell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Farwell's win bumped their record up to 31-3. As for Floydada, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Farwell nor Floydada have any future games scheduled.
