Polytechnic waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 58-41 victory over the Flintridge Prep Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Polytechnic's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Flintridge Prep, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.

Looking ahead, Polytechnic will challenge Chadwick at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Flintridge Prep, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves will be up against the Seawolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.58 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
