Basketball Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

Petersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 45-34 to the Wrangell Wolves. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-36 last Friday.

Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wrangell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Petersburg will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Metlakatla at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Wrangell also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Ketchikan at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
