Volleyball Recap: Brighton Takes a Loss

Brighton was the 3-2 winner over Olympus when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bengals fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brighton took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Olympus, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brighton will take on rival Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Olympus is set to square off against their familiar foe West at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
