Volleyball Recap: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Wins Going Away Against North Central

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the North Central Panthers 3-0. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-22.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory can attribute much of their success to Harper Krautkramer, who had nine digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Krautkramer a new career-high in assists (nine).

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for North Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory will square off against Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Central, after both having extra time off, they and Lawrence Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 11:00 a.m. on the 18th.
