Soccer Game Preview: DSST: Cedar vs. DSST: College View

For the first time this season, DSST: Cedar will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the DSST: College View Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when DSST: Cedar took on Wellington on Thursday. The Falcons came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 5-3. The score was all tied up 3-3 at the break, but DSST: Cedar were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, DSST: College View and DSST: Montview finished up their matchup with a 3-3 draw on Tuesday.

Wolves hit the Knights with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alonzo DeLaRosa-Perez, Jesus Armenta-Ortiz, and David Beltran-Zavala.

DSST: Cedar's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. With that draw, DSST: College View's record moves to 3-2-3.

DSST: Cedar beat DSST: College View by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
