Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carlsbad, Chaparral was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hatch Valley Bears by a score of 3-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Lobos' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Chaparral walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 21-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Chaparral's victory ended an eight-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11. As for Hatch Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Chaparral and Hatch Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Lobos see the court they'll take on Valencia at 2:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Hatch Valley, their break will end when they face Ruidoso at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
