Volleyball Recap: Cromwell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cromwell suffered their biggest defeat since September 17th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Hale Ray Noises. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Noises this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Cromwell ultimately came up short, they really made Hale Ray work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24, 25-17.

Anya Natt paced Cromwell's offense, picking up nine kills. Natt got some help from Isabella Davis and her eight assists. Victoria Narwot controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cromwell's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Hale Ray, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cromwell is set to face off against their familiar foe Valley Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hale Ray will take on rival Old Lyme at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
