Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty lost against Onteora back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Liberty Indians had to suffer through a 62-10 loss at the hands of the Onteora Eagles.

Liberty has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Onteora, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will welcome Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Onteora, they will challenge Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Onteora knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Millbrook likes a good challenge.
