Softball Recap: Bartlett Panthers vs. Lakeland Preparatory Lions

Bartlett can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lakeland Preparatory Lions as the Bartlett Panthers made off with a 21-1 win. Bartlett's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bartlett got a massive performance out of Codie Rae Walter, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Annie McGinly, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

On Lakeland Preparatory's side, they saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Harrell, who went 1-for-1 with an RBI.

Bartlett's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Lakeland Preparatory, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.
