Kamiak's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Glacier Peak Grizzlies 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since September 8th.

Kamiak had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 23-25, 27-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Despite the defeat, Glacier Peak saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyssa Box had six digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Box. Ashley Jang also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Kamiak has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Glacier Peak, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7-2 record this season.

Kamiak will venture away from home to challenge Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glacier Peak, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Shorewood on the 8th.
